Fall Is A Great Time For Fashion
Fall is the season where the weather starts cooling down and the fluffy casual socks and the thick jackets start coming out.
This season, wear something that is trendy, cute, and warm.
Don't be afraid to mix it up and wear something that is a little different this year.
Even if that means wearing a neon jacket with leopard print pants.
Create your own style and don't be afraid to wear what you want!
Classic Clothes That Never Go Out Of Style
Fall is a season that has classic colors, patterns, and styles. When September hits the weather starts to cool down.
Most people will wear sweatshirts, sweaters, and simple jackets. When it's cold in the morning they help you stay warm, and in the afternoon when it warms up you can take them off.
Jeans and leggings are also cute fall clothes to wear when the weather turns cold. They aren't thick and it won't cause you to sweat as it heats up in the day.
Classic Colors and Patterns That You Can Wear Year After Year
Every season has their own designated colors that are easy to wear every year. Autumn colors are normally browns, oranges, yellows, and reds. Fallen leaves are the main colors that people go for.
Every year without fail those are the colors that people flock to. You can never go wrong when you choose something that everyone else is wearing.
When it comes to patterns, flannels and plaid are huge. It seems as though everyone and anyone will put on a plaid shirt when September 22nd comes.
Other famous ones are checkered and floral patterns. Simple things that just scream fall is what everyone is looking to wear.
If you decide to wear one of these colors or patterns you can't go wrong. They're simple and sold in nearly every store once back to school season starts.
New Colors And Patterns You Might Want To Try
You don't always have to go with the flow and follow all the trends. This year a lot of colors are making their way into fall fashion outfits.
If you want to go against the norm, the popular colors this year are light purples and light blues. For some reason, the fashion industry is marketing different colors this season.
Some people are sporting neon clothes in their daily routines. Usually, I think of hunting or cycling when the word neon clothes come up. Normally, neon is for when you want to be seen in dark or blend in with the natural background.
This season a neon accessory might spice up your wardrobe and make you stand out against the crowd. Other than colors there are also a lot of patterns that are appearing.
2018 is the year of animal prints and wearing either real or faux furs. It doesn't matter which one you prefer but it seems to be taking over runways and clothing lines.
Animal prints are unique and interesting to wear. The colors are similar to those of fall wear but they might be a little warm so winter could be a good choice.
These might not be your style but you could always try something on and see how it looks. Don't knock it until you try it!
Accessories That Are Made For Fall
I personally think that accessories are made for autumn. Hats, scarves, gloves, jewelry, anything that is added to an outfit is considered fall fashion accessories. For some reason, these items remind me of fall more than anything else.
Hats can be worn during any season but I think they fit fall the most. Beanies, snapbacks, trucker hats, fedoras, bucket hats, anything just says fall. They all keep your head warm while still looking cute.
Scarves are also something that can be worn for most seasons but I think of fall mainly because of the "white girl" stereotype. If you think of a girl getting a pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks in September, a scarf, Ugg boots, and leggings come to mind.
Even gloves can be a fall item when it gets cold in the mornings. I know I've had to wear them when ice starts forming on my car in the morning. It's more for winter but I still use them in the fall.
Anything and everything can be a fall item if you wear it from late September-December. Just wear the right colors and you'll be perfect.
Make Sure You Layer Up!
Don't be afraid to wear 2 or 3 layers when it starts getting cold. It's better for winter but you can still layer up on the colder days.
Make sure you have at least a long sleeve shirt and light jacket on if you're heading outside. If it starts getting too cold you can wear a thicker coat that will keep you warm.
Try to wear pants or leggings as well, if you wear a skirt or shorts you might be a bit cold. It's better to be prepared then to freeze.
When it comes to the best socks for sweaty feet, two pairs is always a good idea. The first pair should be a lighter and thinner sock while the top layer should be a thicker wool sock.
You can wear any type of shoes if you layer up your socks but I would suggest close-toed shoes. A great idea is to wear boots or booties to keep your feet extra warm.
Make sure you layer up in case it really is cold outside. Remember you can always take layers off but you can't put them on if you're away from home.
The Best Materials For Cool Coats, Casual Socks, and Crazy Shirts
The best materials vary on what layer of clothing you have on. Outer and inner layers have better materials for warmth and wear-ability.
For inner layers, Cotton and Linen are really good to use. They're soft, warm, and usually a decent thickness. They're great for shirts and light jackets to wear underneath a thicker coat.
When it comes to outer layers Polyester and Wool are great to wear. Polyester is usually stretchy and things like windbreakers are made out of them. They're not that warm but they do keep moisture away from you.
Wool is great for thicker coats and casual socks for a lot of warmth. If you wear them then you'll feel warm and might keep the moisture off if they're made well.
Wear What You Want To Wear
Fall outfits can bring out a lot of different styles since there are a few holidays during the season. You can wear bright or dark clothes and still be comfortable.
The weather is also slowly changing so you'll get warm and cold days which means you can wear a lot of variety each day. Don't be afraid to mix and match different colors and styles.
If you want to wear something then go for it. Fall is a great time for warm clothes that you can snuggle into.
